The Dessert Menu: Latin Flavors Meet European Technique
The rotating dessert menu showcases Martínez’s exploration of Latin ingredients through European and Japanese pastry techniques. Signature creations include:
Guava Glazed Doughnuts: Pillowy doughnuts glazed with guava syrup, topped with pink peppercorn streusel and housemade cream cheese ice cream.
Quesillo Shortbread Tart: Venezuelan quesillo in shortbread with pear sorbet and caramel popcorn.
Araguani Chocolate: Dark chocolate ganache with passion fruit, pomegranate, and mole crunch.
Apple Spice Cake: Featuring tamarind caramel, pecan crumb, and dulce de leche cremeux.
Mango Mousse: Glossy mango painted on white chocolate with toasted coconut crumble.
Note: A three-course dessert tasting menu ($45-$50) is available in Bar ANA’s private VIP room.
The Cocktail Program & Atmosphere
Beverage Director Mayim Williams created cocktails that incorporate Caribbean elements as an homage to her Jamaican heritage. Signature drinks include the Caribbean Sour and the Dirty Pineapple.
The atmosphere features an intimate 40-seat space with candles, stone walls, and a striking vine-covered ceiling. The experience is completed by a curated soundscape of Afro beats, merengue, salsa, and Atlanta icons like Outkast.

Distance from GWCC: Approximately 3 miles northeast.
Rideshare: 10–15 minutes ($12–$18).
MARTA: Blue/Green Line to North Avenue Station, then transfer to Bus Route #2.

Bar ANA (Evening): Mon, Thu, Sun (6:00 PM – Midnight) | Fri, Sat (6:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
Recuerdos Café (Morning): Thu – Mon (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM).
